Air Jordan 17 x Doernbecher Freestyle "Zach"

As part of the Doernbecher Freestyle program, which gives young patients at OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital the opportunity to work with Nike and Jordan design teammates, Zach created his very own Air Jordan 17, dedicated to his love for all things mechanical. Zach's design features hex-shaped eyelets and chrome elements inspired by his passion for bikes. The collar features soft leather, like on a luxury steering wheel. And if you pop open the lace cover, you’ll find interchangeable silver charms linked to the laces. Significant to Zach is the number 38, noted on the hangtag, and a reference to how many days he spent at the hospital recovering from sudden cardiac arrest.
